About the Role:

Program Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of high-impact international events, conferences, workshops, and strategic engagements organized under GSCOE by Sanitech vertical of TECHIN. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, international event experience, and the ability to interface with diverse stakeholders, both nationally and globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Coordination: Plan, organize, and execute international and national conferences, symposiums, workshops, and seminars related to water, sanitation technology and innovation.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the point of contact for national and international partners, sponsors, speakers, and delegates. Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external collaborators.
  • Logistics Management: Oversee logistical aspects of event planning, including scheduling, budgeting, venue setup, travel arrangements, accommodation, and virtual event platforms.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare program agendas, invitation letters, promotional materials, event briefs, and post-event reports.
  • Public Relations and Outreach: Support in drafting official communications, newsletters, and managing outreach for events through professional networks and social media platforms.
  • Administrative Support: Assist in maintaining records and necessary documentation in line with institutional processes.
     

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Management, Communication, International Relations, Social Sciences, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in event management, preferably in academic, research, or innovation environments.
  • Proven experience in coordinating international conferences or events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, event management tools, and digital communication platforms.
     

Desirable Skills.

  • Prior experience working with academic institutions, think tanks, or innovation hubs.
  • Familiarity with the water, sanitation and public health ecosystem will be an added advantage.
  • Creative thinking and ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.


Salary: 

  • Consolidated monthly emoluments in the range Rs 40,000/- per month.
  • The appointment is for One year contract extendable based on need and funding.
  • The selected candidate will have to join immediately.
