SAMASTHA Series – Water, Sanitation & Hygiene Cohort
The SAMASTHA Series is a flagship program of the SaniTech Vertical at TECHIN, established to encourage and support startups working in the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WaSH) sector.
This initiative focuses on startups and innovators developing technologies at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4 and above, offering them a platform to refine their solutions, strengthen their business models, and address real-world challenges in sanitation and public health.
Through its multiple editions, the SAMASTHA Series has provided:
- Mentoring and ecosystem support to help innovators build impactful solutions.
- Opportunities for validation and growth, enabling startups to move closer to market readiness.
- A collaborative platform for entrepreneurs, experts, and stakeholders in the WaSH ecosystem.
Over the years, six successful cohorts have been organized, from Samastha 1.0 to Samastha 6.0, each contributing to the identification and nurturing of high-impact WaSH innovations. The series has played an important role in strengthening the innovation pipeline and promoting sustainable practices in sanitation and hygiene across India.
