About Us

We are a section 8 (not for profit) company in collaboration with central and state governments, various national and international Industries and higher educational institutes to address the myriad problems of the society with a focus on technological solutions. Ideas that emanate from the various Institutes including IIT Palakkad, Industries, small and medium enterprises, and the community at large are incubated. We achieve this by creating centers for various domains. Proof of concept projects, product development, research and innovation are facilitated to create go-to-market product solutions and startups.

TECHIN is strategically located at the foothills of the western ghats on the sprawling campus of IIT Palakkad well embedded in the industrial ecosystem of Coimbatore and Palakkad. The center has been formed to support the Innovation and Incubation of ideas that emanate from various Institutes including IIT Palakkad, Industries, small and medium enterprises and the community at large. The vast network of successful entrepreneurs from the region including Pan IIT alumni, cutting edge research facilities and technical expertise of the faculty are the core pillars supporting the activities of the center.
