With this vision, the MedTech Research Center of Excellence has been set up at Technology Innovation Foundation of IIT Palakkad(TECHIN) in collaboration with West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. The primary objective of setting up this MedTech Research CoE is to identify and promote upcoming medical research and technology-based start-ups and nurture emerging ideas into reality with the vision of developing a robust health technology ecosystem, thereby reaching out to the people in need. The CoE would enable us to share our domain expertise with the emerging entrepreneurs in the MedTech space.
T he healthcare ecosystem is rapidly shifting towards innovative care delivery models such as virtual, remote, and alternate care. With this effective collaboration, the MedTech Research COE aims to provide the identified startups with the advice, direction, resources, and funding needed to start bringing their product visions to life. This program would also focus on collaborating with leading medical colleges, hospitals, and research centers to make this initiative more focused on patients' health and well- being needs.
